Introduction
US-Russian Relations and the Founding of the United Nations is a special digital exhibition curated by the students from History 2242: US-Russian Relations and the Founding of the United Nations. The exhibition, which is being launched to mark the 75th anniversary of the launch of the UN in April 1945, features documents, photographs, posters and other historical items from the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library, as well as the Yeltsin Presidential Library in St. Petersburg, Russia.
In keeping with the international character of the United Nations, History 2242 includes students from the United States, Canada, Korea and a special contingent from the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Petersburg (Smolny College) in Russia.
