Watercolor drawing on paper of a single fungus, on left side of paper: drawing measures three inches in height; cap measures 3 1/8 inches at widest point; the wide, gently floppy cap is executed in shades of acqua; the gill area in pale cream with pencilled fine, close drawn lines to indicate the gills; the stalk in pale cream and beige; dark strokes of greyish-brown indicate ground; on upper right corner, in pencil, is "85" ; in lower right corner, "Aug 1920 / BHF / Pa / Clitocybe virens".
