Here you will find bands and musicians from Bard's illustrious 1970's past. This decade saw the arrival punk rock at Bard and the burdgeoning music scene being established. Jazz had reigned supreme until Virus slammed into the student body with their brand of hard-hitting punk. The Twilites (sometime spelled Twilights) were another popular punk band at Bard in the late 70s - even playing a concert outside Blithewood mansion with a sound system that made sure they were heard as far away as Tivoli, Saugerties and Red Hook. Stroll down memory lane and see the roots of Bard's rock scene emerge in the 1970s.
